ESCalate and Norwich School of Art and Design has offered a schooltoons week to two Secondary Schools in Norfolk. Schools involved were Heathersett High School and Notre Dame High School in Norwich.
The aims of the schooltoons week were to bring together artist in residence and teachers to maximise the impact on pupil’s learning, creativity and behaviour through the creation of 2D and 3D animation. Further objectives will look into a possible development of courses for teachers to target their confidence in new digital media by working with the creative industry.
