TechLearn

TechLearn provides advice and support to further and higher education on new and emerging technologies that support learning and teaching. TechLearn is funded by JISC .

LEAP Case Studies

The LEAP Case Studies were commissoned in 2002, and comprise 14 studies produced from seven institutions. They have been written by lecturers who have hands on experience of using learning environments for teaching. The aim was to uncover different pedagogical applications within virtual learning environments (VLEs) and to show that these were platform independent.

The Case Studies focussed on four key pedagogical areas that learning environments are used for within Universities. These are; Assessment, Blended Learning, Continuing Professional Development and Role Play. The case studies are available to download from the LTSN Generic Centre website and are located in the Resources Database under e-learning .
