Beverley initially gained a BSc (Hons) in Home Economics followed by a PGCE and went on to teach in secondary schools in the Nottingham area taking on a variety of responsibilities within Design & Technology teaching. Beverley gained an MEd and added training to her portfolio through the ‘Food in Schools’ and ‘Licence to Cook programmes’. Beverley now works at Nottingham Trent University where she works with both secondary and primary ITT. Currently Beverley is beginning research which will see students (mainly but not exclusively ITT) deliver cooking lessons to fellow students to help improve diet & health.
