Three HEA appointments for subject and discipline areas
The three confirmed appointments are:
Head of Social Sciences. Dr John Craig. John will join on secondment from
Teesside where he is Assistant Dean in the Faculty of Social Sciences and
Law. John chairs the C-SAP advisory board.
Head of STEM - Dr Janet De Wilde. Janet joins from the University of
Edinburgh, where she is the Executive Manager of the SINAPSE (Scottish
Imaging Network). This is a pan-Scotland initiative bringing together
academic and clinical experts from a wide range of disciplines to develop
skills in medical imaging.
Head of Health Sciences – Dr Geoff Glover. Geoff joins from the East
Midlands Health Innovation Educational Cluster, to which he was seconded
from the University of Derby, developing education and training programmes
with service colleagues from health and social care within the East
Midlands region.
OSIER repository now open
"Find and share ideas and resources on the teaching of
Education for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship"
The OSIER repository is now open for all, both to access materials and for submission of new resources. Users will have the opportunity to comment on resources, to add new resources of their own, and to upload resources based on materials that they have downloaded from the site. All materials will be fully accessible and re-usable, made available under a Creative Commons License.
