|Date(s)||Tuesday 11 March 2008|
|Venue||University of Bristol, Graduate School of Education|
|Organised by||ESCalate / Economics Network|
The Higher Education Academy and Subject Centre’s Internationalisation Project - led by ESCalate and LLAS
The main aim of this project is to explore perceptions and practice in internationalising the curriculum from a discipline, practitioner and student perspective.
During the day researchers will engage with staff and student focus groups in order to identify ways in which an internationalised curriculum can have an impact on the learning and teaching experience of UK and international students and staff. The groups will all be video and audio taped in order for input to be captured for research purposes and possible use on ESCalate's website. By registering to attend the event, it is assumed you are willing to be videotaped.
By registering for this event you are warmly invited to attend the focus group most relevant to you. Please indicate this choice on your registration form in the "Other" box underneath dietary requirements as well as your area of study (ie, Home student, Education).
So, international students are invited to attend from 8:50 to 10:00.
Teaching staff are invited to attend from 10:25 to 11:45.
Home students are invited to attend from 11:50 to 1:00.
The student sessions are open to all levels of students; undergraduate through postgraduate. Each focus group will be interdisciplinary.
Everyone is very welcome to come for lunch at 1:15.
