4 year degrees: Results of student survey on the benefits of 4 year degrees
A team of tutors from a range of institutions in England met on July 20th 2007 in Lancaster with the aim of discussing the results of a survey they had held with their final year students. This survey was to ask for students opinions of 4 year degrees: Why had they chosen 4 years, rather than 3? What were the benefits? Would they recommend the same route for others? The results of the survey are available to download on this page with a commentary and some recommendation and suggestions. They will be of interest to all course leaders and tutors as they give interesting insights into the emphasis that students place on certain aspects of their course. If you wish to comment or would like a similar kind of survey for a course that you do, please contact ESCalate ITE at escalate@cumbria.ac.uk.
