Critical thinking is a term widely used in HE. However, teaching staff may understand different things by it. This matters when the abilityto think critically can be an assessment criterion for students.
The seminar explores the term ‘critical thinking’ and the manner in which students’ epistemological beliefs may affect their engagement.
Both students and staff are welcome to attend.
