The project involves the Departments of Science Education in 5 higher education institutions. The purpose of this project is to identify good practice in the use of web-based material in support of the teaching of science by PGCE students in the secondary phase. The project will draw upon the experiences of PGCE students facing the learning opportunities provided by the internet and seeks to develop and disseminate effective strategies which can be drawn on by both existing science teachers as well as those in training.
